Personal History

Lester has been the faithful companion to Felix de l’Isle since SD2402, surviving myriad adventures on board the USS Caledonia and Starbase BoB. Apart from a brief period of neglect, owing to his owner’s substance abuse, Lester has been both well treated and an indisputably good boy.

Lester is one of three canines in Starfleet to have held an officer position. When rogue former Starfleet Intelligence agent Elizabeth Mainwaring attempted to hijack the Lone Star in 2410, Lester’s bridge access meant that he could be guided towards a console to execute a command deadstop, preventing her from stealing the ship. As a result he was granted the rank of crewman. The next year, Lester briefly held the rank of Captain when the Lone Star encountered a dominant canine species that was not tolerant to bipeds. In recognition of his diplomatic efforts he was promoted to Petty Officer, Third Class.
